Tauranga Garden & Artfest 2020

Way back at least 20 years ago we first participated in the Tauranga Garden & Art Festival and have been involved about 7 times, showcasing our ever changing garden and providing hospitality to the thousands of people that visited.

We have hosted many different artists as well and back in 2004 we built our showroom ‘Design on James’ on the property and have run our business since then, from here.

The garden has definitely evolved over the years.  It started out as a cottage garden full of perennials and old fashions roses and now we have a mostly foliage garden with lots of maples, topiary and contrasting leaf forms.

One of the latest gardens has drifts of Michaelia Fairy Cream, Hydrangea Limelight, along with Mondo Grasses and Lambs Ear, Daphne and Hellebores.

We have also established a very large covered deck for entertaining our growing family, which has lots of seating, both around a large oversized table seating 14 and an outdoor couch, large chairs covered in an outdoor velvet.  Such a welcoming place to be.

Our craft produce market will be a new addition as well to the festival.
